Have you ever bought something from using your mobile device? Try it. It is convenient and easy and does not take more than 2 minutes. As a matter of fact, during the past 12 months, Amazon has sold one billion dollars through mobile devices.

For the quarter ending June 30, Amazon reported profit of $207 million, up from $142 million a year ago. Net sales increased 41% to $6.57 billion.

Amazon revealed that it is now selling more e-books than hardcover books. Over the last three months, the company has sold 143 e-books for every 100 hardbacks. And that rate jumped to 180 e-books or every 100 hardcovers in July.
